15 вересня 2026 року в Сумському державному педагогічному університеті відбулося засідання під головуванням в.о. ректора університету Юрія Лянного з гарантами освітньо-професійних та освітньо-наукових програм, що реалізуються на фізико-математичному факультеті, в межах так званої «Школи гарантів».

Під час засідання завідувач навчального відділу Людмила Петренко та начальник Центру забезпечення якості вищої освіти університету Оксана Одінцова  ознайомили присутніх з актуальними питаннями, пов’язаними з акредитацією освітніх програм, звернувши увагу на чинний Закон України «Про Академічну доброчесність», оновлений відповідно до цього Закону як перелік суттєвих недоліків зі звіту експертної комісії, що оцінює реалізацію освітньої програми, так і Кодекс академічної доброчесності університету, роз’яснено зміни до методичного забезпечення дисциплін. До засідань долучалися представниця ГЕР, завідувачка кафедри педагогіки Наталія Коваленко та експерти НАЗЯВО.

 Усі питання обговорювалися з урахуванням специфіки факультету.

On September 15, 2026, a meeting was held at Sumy State Pedagogical University, chaired by Acting Rector Yuriy Lyannyy, with the program coordinators of the educational-professional and educational-research programs offered by the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, as part of the so-called “School of Program Coordinators.”

During the meeting, Lyudmyla Petrenko, Head of the Academic Affairs Department, and Oksana Odintsova, Head of the University’s Center for Higher Education Quality Assurance, briefed attendees on current issues related to the accreditation of educational programs, drawing attention to the current Law of Ukraine “On Academic Integrity,” which has been updated in accordance with this law—both the list of significant shortcomings from the report of the expert commission evaluating the implementation of the educational program and the University’s Code of Academic Integrity—and explained changes to the methodological support for the disciplines. A representative of the State Educational Standards Agency (GER), Natalia Kovalenko, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, and experts from the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAZYAO) participated in the meetings.

All issues were discussed with due consideration for the specific characteristics of the faculty.

12 червня 2026 р. відбувся заключний етап Всеукраїнського конкурсу студентських наукових робіт «Інформаційно-комунікаційні технології в освіті», який проходив на базі кафедри інформатики та кібернетики Мелітопольського державного педагогічного університету. Від кафедри інформатики нашого університету було надіслано кілька цікавих робіт, в основі яких були курсові проєкти здобувачів освіти спеціальності «Середня освіта (Інформатика)».

Конкурс відбувався у два етапи: на першому етапі журі відбирало найкращі матеріали, а на другому від авторів найкращих робіт вимагалося презентувати власні проєкти, обґрунтовуючи їхню актуальність, важливість і новизну.

Журі заслухало доповіді учасників і визначило переможців. Ми щиро вітаємо Дмитра ТУРЧИНА, здобувача освіти 4-го курсу спеціальності «Середня освіта (Інформатика)», який здобув І місце! Його наукова робота "Перебудова стратегій навчання інформатики в умовах нестабільного Інтернету" отримала високу оцінку журі конкурсу. Вітаємо наукового керівника - д.пед.н., проф. Олену СЕМЕНІХІНУ за професійне наставництво, підтримку та підготовку переможця конкурсу такого рівня.

On June 12, 2026, the final stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition “Information and Communication Technologies in Education” took place at the Department of Computer Science and Cybernetics at Melitopol State Pedagogical University. The Department of Computer Science at our university submitted several interesting papers, which were based on course projects by students majoring in “Secondary Education (Computer Science).”

The competition took place in two stages: in the first stage, the jury selected the best entries, and in the second stage, the authors of the best works were required to present their own projects, justifying their relevance, importance, and novelty.

The jury listened to the participants’ presentations and selected the winners. We sincerely congratulate Dmytro TURCHYN, a fourth-year student majoring in “Secondary Education (Computer Science),” who won first place! His research paper, “Restructuring Computer Science Teaching Strategies in an Unstable Internet Environment,” was highly praised by the competition jury. We congratulate his academic advisor - Dr. Olena SEMENIKHINA, Professor of Pedagogy - for her professional guidance, support, and preparation of the winner for a competition of this caliber.

1 вересня на фізико-математичному факультеті відбулася традиційна онлайн-зустріч «Вступ до спеціальності» — перше знайомство наших першокурсників із факультетом, його людьми, можливостями та студентським життям.

До зустрічі долучилися адміністрація факультету, куратори академічних груп, представники навчального відділу, бібліотеки, психологічної служби та студентського самоврядування.

Під час зустрічі студенти дізналися, як користуватися основними цифровими ресурсами університету: Moodle, електронним кабінетом студента та електронним розкладом. Представники бібліотеки розповіли про можливості Наукової бібліотеки університету, її електронні сервіси, сайт та репозитарій — усе необхідне для навчання й досліджень.

Декан факультету Михайло Каленик привітав першокурсників, розповів про особливості навчання, познайомив із викладачами кафедр та поділився історією фізмату.

Свої вітання та побажання студентам передали завідувачі кафедр, куратори академічних груп і секретар факультету Наталія Хворостіна.

А про те, що життя на фізматі — це не лише лекції та практичні, розповіла студентський декан Дар’я Давиденко. Попереду — студентські ініціативи, заходи, проєкти, нові знайомства та безліч можливостей проявити себе.

Зустріч відбулася у теплій і невимушеній атмосфері. Першокурсники активно ставили запитання, отримували відповіді та робили свої перші кроки у новому студентському середовищі.

On September 1, the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics hosted its traditional online “Introduction to the Major” event—our freshmen’s first opportunity to get to know the faculty, its staff, opportunities, and student life.

Faculty administrators, academic advisors, and representatives from the Academic Affairs Office, the library, the psychological services, and the student government participated in the event.

During the meeting, students learned how to use the university’s main digital resources: Moodle, the student portal, and the online schedule. Library representatives discussed the resources available at the University’s Scientific Library, including its digital services, website, and repository—everything needed for study and research.

Faculty Dean Mykhailo Kalenyk welcomed the freshmen, explained the specifics of the program, introduced them to the department faculty, and shared the history of the Department of Physics and Mathematics.

Department chairs, academic advisors, and Faculty Secretary Natalia Khvorostina extended their greetings and best wishes to the students.

Daria Davydenko, the dean of student affairs, explained that life at the Department of Physics and Mathematics is about more than just lectures and lab sessions. Ahead lie student initiatives, events, projects, new friendships, and countless opportunities to prove yourselves.

The meeting took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The freshmen actively asked questions, received answers, and took their first steps in their new student environment.

За результатами конкурсного відбору І місце виборов Дмитро ТУРЧИН, здобувач освіти 4-го курсу, з дослідженням навчання інформатики в умовах нестабільного доступу до мережі Інтернет (науковий керівник – доктор педагогічних наук, професор Олена СЕМЕНІХІНА). Роботу було представлено в напрямі «Природничі науки, математика та статистика, інформаційні технології та охорона здоров’я, транспорт та послуги».
ІІІ місце посіла Даша ДАВИДЕНКО, здобувачка освіти 3-го курсу, з дослідженням медіатравми в інформаційному середовищі прифронтового регіону (науковий керівник – кандидат педагогічних наук, доцент Артем ЮРЧЕНКО). Робота представлена за напрямом «Освіта. Соціальні науки, журналістика та інформація. Бізнес, адміністрування та право».

In 2026, Sumy State Pedagogical University hosted the annual student research competition “YOUNG SCIENCE Sumy SPU — 2026.” This year, the Department of Computer Science has two winners among students majoring in “Secondary Education (Computer Science).”
According to the results of the competition, first place was awarded to Dmytro TURCHYN, a fourth-year student, for his research on teaching computer science under conditions of unstable Internet access (supervised by Dr. Olena SEMENIKHINA, Professor of Pedagogical Sciences). The work was presented in the category “Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Information Technology and Healthcare, Transportation and Services.”
Third place went to Dasha DAVYDENKO, a third-year student, for her research on media trauma in the information environment of a frontline region (supervisor: Artem YURCHENKO, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor). The work was presented in the category “Education. Social Sciences, Journalism, and Information. Business, Administration, and Law.”
We congratulate Dmytro and Dasha on their outstanding results, and their academic advisors on preparing the winners! We wish them continued success in their research, new discoveries, and inspiration.

З 11 по 15 травня 2026 року в Ужгороді проходив фінальний етап найпрестижнішого педагогічного конкурсу країни одразу в чотирьох номінаціях: «Початкова освіта», «Англійська мова», «Математика» та «Громадянська освіта». У заключному турі Всеукраїнського конкурсу «Учитель року – 2026» за перемогу змагалися 48 креативних, цілеспрямованих і талановитих педагогів з усіх куточків України. Експертне журі в номінації «Математика» очолила представниця нашого Сумського державного педагогічного університету – завідувачка кафедри математики, фізики та методик їх навчання, докторка педагогічних наук, професорка Ольга Чашечникова.

Творчою лабораторією для проведення конкурсу став Ужгородський науковий ліцей. Щиру подяку за бездоганну організацію та постійну підтримку висловлюємо директорці ліцею, Заслуженій працівниці освіти України Олені Тимофіївні Іщенко, усьому колективу закладу, а також секретарці журі, представниці МАН Світлані Колосовій.

«Тримаємо висоту!» – саме під таким гаслом промчав фінал конкурсу «Учитель року – 2026». Ці слова стали символом стійкості наших освітян, які попри воєнні виклики тримають освітній фронт, надихають дітей та безперервно розвиваються.

П'ять днів, 12 фіналістів-математиків і справжній фестиваль інноваційних ідей та методичних родзинок. Наш конкурс – це насамперед про єднання, обмін досвідом та спільний рух до європейської якості української освіти.

Перемогу у фіналі Всеукраїнського конкурсу «Учитель року – 2026» у номінації «Математика» виборола неймовірна вчителька з 35-річним педагогічним стажем – Наталія Щедріна, яка представляє Харківський ліцей № 157. Пишаємося та бажаємо нових професійних злетів!

From May 11 to 15, 2026, Uzhhorod hosted the final round of the country’s most prestigious teaching competition in four categories: “Elementary Education,” “English,” “Mathematics,” and “Civics.” In the final round of the All-Ukrainian “Teacher of the Year – 2026” competition, 48 creative, dedicated, and talented educators from all corners of Ukraine competed for the title. The expert jury in the “Mathematics” category was headed by a representative of our Sumy State Pedagogical University—Olga Chashechnikova, Head of the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Teaching Methods, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Professor.
The competition’s star-studded expert jury included:

• Lyudmila Kharchenko (Deputy Chair of the Jury) – mathematics teacher at the Rusanivsky Lyceum in Kyiv, winner of the “Teacher of the Year – 2021” competition.
• Nina Tarasenko – Ph.D. in Pedagogy, professor at Bohdan Khmelnytskyi National University of Chernihiv, leading research fellow at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Education of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, and a well-known textbook author.
• Lydia Filon – Head of the Department of Mathematics at T. G. Shevchenko National University “Chernihiv Collegium,” Associate Professor.
• Oksana Moskalenko – Associate Professor in the Department of General Physics and Mathematics at V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University.
• Oleksandr Kadubovskyi – Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Physical Education at Donetsk State Pedagogical University.
• Vadym Kirman – Head of the Department of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology Education at the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education, Associate Professor.
• Iryna Kyrdei – Deputy Director for Educational Work at the M. O. Kyrylenko Bila Tserkva Natural Sciences and Mathematics Lyceum-Gymnasium No. 16, teacher-methodologist.
• Olesia Dutchak – mathematics teacher at the Ivano-Frankivsk Sports Lyceum, teacher-methodologist.

The Uzhhorod Scientific Lyceum served as the creative hub for the competition. We extend our sincere gratitude for the impeccable organization and constant support to the lyceum’s director, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Olena Tymofiivna Ishchenko, the entire staff of the institution, and the jury secretary, MAN representative Svitlana Kolosova.
“Let’s Stay Strong!”—this was the slogan that carried the “Teacher of the Year – 2026” competition through its final stage. These words have become a symbol of the resilience of our educators, who, despite the challenges of war, are holding the educational front, inspiring children, and continuously developing themselves.

Five days, 12 math finalists, and a true festival of innovative ideas and teaching highlights. Our competition is, above all, about unity, sharing experiences, and working together to bring Ukrainian education up to European standards.

Аспірант кафедри інформатики Сергій БОГОСЛАВСЬКИЙ (спеціальність А5 Професійна освіта. Цифрові технології) представив результати дослідження на міжнародній конференції MIPRO 2026 - 49th ICT and Electronics Convention у секції CE - Computers in Education. Виступ і подальша фахова дискусія відбувалися англійською мовою. Доповідь була присвячена гібридному навчанню майбутніх учителів у цифровому освітньому середовищі. У виступі було наголошено, що професійна підготовка фахівців не може обмежуватися лише очною руховою практикою. Сучасний учитель має вміти використовувати LMS, відеосервіси, цифрові журнали, портфоліо та комунікаційні платформи для планування, моніторингу, аналізу й рефлексії активності.
У дослідженні було представлено концептуальну модель гібридного навчання, що містить 4 блоки: цільовий, змістовий, процесуальний і результативний. Окремо було описано цифрове середовище як інтегровану екосистему, де LMS виконує роль єдиної точки входу, а мобільні трекери, відеоаналіз, комунікаційні інструменти й цифрове портфоліо підтримують професійне становлення майбутнього педагога. Доповідач також представив результати експертного оцінювання моделі та додаткового пілотного опитування здобувачів освіти. Експерти загалом підтримали запропоновану модель, водночас вказали на потребу уточнення інструментів діагностики результатів, посилення практичної цінності цифрового портфоліо та врахування різного рівня цифрової грамотності учасників освітнього процесу.

Serhii BOGOSLAVSKYI, a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science (specialization A5: Vocational Education. Digital Technologies), presented the results of his research at the international conference MIPRO 2026 – 49th ICT and Electronics Convention in the CE (Computers in Education) section. The presentation and subsequent professional discussion were conducted in English. The presentation focused on hybrid training for future teachers in a digital educational environment. The presentation emphasized that professional training for specialists cannot be limited solely to in-person practical training. A modern teacher must be able to use LMS, video services, digital journals, portfolios, and communication platforms for planning, monitoring, analyzing, and reflecting on activities.
The study presented a conceptual model of hybrid learning comprising four components: goal-oriented, content-based, process-oriented, and outcome-oriented. The digital environment was described separately as an integrated ecosystem where the LMS serves as a single point of entry, and mobile trackers, video analysis, communication tools, and digital portfolios support the professional development of future educators. The presenter also shared the results of an expert evaluation of the model and an additional pilot survey of students. Experts generally supported the proposed model, while noting the need to refine the tools for assessing outcomes, enhance the practical value of the digital portfolio, and account for the varying levels of digital literacy among participants in the educational process.

Завідувач кафедри математики, фізики та методик їх навчання, д. п. н., проф. Ольга Чашечникова взяла участь у створені нового безплатного курсу від «НУШ у час змін: 5–6 класи. Математична галузь» для вчителів математики. Цей курс розроблений, щоб допомогти вчителям впевнено працювати в умовах НУШ, створювати цікаві уроки та підтримувати учнівство навіть у кризових умовах сьогодення.

14 відеоуроків тривалістю 12-15 хвилин кожен, тестові завдання та корисні додаткові матеріали. Курс створено ГС «Освіторія» у межах програми MYRP за підтримки Міністерства освіти і науки України та фінансування фонду "Education Cannot Wait" (ECW).

09 червня 2026 року відбувся вебінар, присвячений корисним ресурсам для щоденної роботи та новим безоплатним курсам для 5–6 класів. Під час зустрічі учасники дізнались про можливості, які вже створено в межах політики «Освіта для життя»: цифрову платформу для планування уроків, путівники для оцінювання, методичні матеріали для різних освітніх галузей та інші практичні інструменти для впровадження компетентнісного навчання.

Політику «Освіта для життя» реалізовує Міністерство освіти і науки України в межах спільної програми з World Bank Ukraine LEARN — «Підвищення доступності та стійкості освіти в умовах кризи в Україні», що фінансується, зокрема, за підтримки Мультидонорського трастового фонду допомоги, відновлення, реконструкції і реформування України (URTF).

Olga Chashechnikova, Ph.D., Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Teaching Methods, participated in the creation of a new free course titled “NUSH in Times of Change: Grades 5–6. Mathematics” for math teachers. This course is designed to help teachers work confidently within the NUSH framework, create engaging lessons, and support student learning even amid today’s crisis conditions.
It includes 14 video lessons, each lasting 12–15 minutes, along with quizzes and useful supplementary materials. The course was created by the “Osvitoria” Public Association as part of the MYRP program, with support from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and funding from the “Education Cannot Wait” (ECW) fund.

On June 9, 2026, a webinar was held focusing on useful resources for daily work and new free courses for 5th and 6th graders. During the meeting, participants learned about the opportunities already created under the “Education for Life” policy: a digital platform for lesson planning, assessment guides, teaching materials for various educational fields, and other practical tools for implementing competency-based learning.
The “Education for Life” policy is being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as part of a joint program with World Bank Ukraine LEARN—“Improving the Accessibility and Resilience of Education in Times of Crisis in Ukraine”—which is funded, in part, with support from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Assistance, Recovery, Reconstruction, and Reform in Ukraine (URTF).

Студент 4 курсу спеціальності А4 Середня освіта (Інформатика) Дмитро ТУРЧИН представив результати власного дослідження на міжнародній конференції MIPRO 2026 - 49th ICT and Electronics Convention у секції CE - Computers in Education. Тема дослідження стосувалася розроблення та пілотного оцінювання offline-first Progressive Web App для навчання інформатики в умовах прифронтового регіону. У доповіді було обґрунтовано потребу в таких цифрових рішеннях для прикордонних шкіл України, де освітній процес часто переривається через нестабільний інтернет, відключення електроенергії та повітряні тривоги. Основна ідея дослідження полягає в тому, що навчання не має повністю залежати від постійного підключення до мережі.
Дмитро представив архітектуру платформи, яка поєднує клієнтський рівень, offline / edge-рівень і online-рівень. Така структура дає змогу відкривати навчальні матеріали, виконувати завдання, зберігати прогрес локально та синхронізувати результати після відновлення зв’язку. Окрему увагу було приділено педагогічній логіці платформи: багаторівневим підказкам, контрольованому використанню ШІ, відсутності готових повних розв’язків і підтримці самостійного мислення здобувачів освіти.

Dmytro TURCHYN, a fourth-year student majoring in A4 Secondary Education (Computer Science), presented the results of his research at the international conference MIPRO 2026 – 49th ICT and Electronics Convention in the CE (Computers in Education) section. The research focused on the development and pilot evaluation of an offline-first Progressive Web App for teaching computer science in frontline regions. The presentation highlighted the need for such digital solutions in Ukraine’s border schools, where the educational process is often disrupted by unstable internet, power outages, and air raid alerts. The core idea of the research is that learning should not be entirely dependent on a constant internet connection.
Dmytro presented the platform’s architecture, which combines the client level, offline/edge level, and online level. This structure allows users to access learning materials, complete assignments, save progress locally, and synchronize results once connectivity is restored. Special attention was paid to the platform’s pedagogical logic: multi-level hints, controlled use of AI, the absence of ready-made complete solutions, and support for students’ independent thinking.
