Фонд Президента України з підтримки освіти, науки та спорту успішно завершив міжнародну програму UK–UA STEM PRO, яка об’єднала 10 тижнів навчання з британськими професорами та практиками і завершилася навчальним візитом до Великої Британії. Програма стартувала після відкритого конкурсного відбору: Фонд отримав 73 заявки з 18 міст України. За його результатами до навчання рекомендували 43 викладачів і молодих науковців з різних STEM-напрямів. Одним із них став д.е.н., проф., завідувач науково-дослідного сектору, проф. кафедри бізнес-економіки та адміністрування Віталій ОМЕЛЬЯНЕНКО.
Програма проходила у три етапи: освітня частина у складі 10 онлайн-сесій від британських науковців, представників бізнесу та української академічної діаспори; навчальний візит до Великої Британії; розроблення проєктів у співпраці з бізнесом і презентація результатів. Взяти участь у програмі могли взяти викладачі та молоді науковці закладів вищої освіти і наукових установ (віком до 40 років) з рівнем англійської мови не нижче B2. Основні критерії відбору: досвід міжнародної співпраці (участь у twinning-програмах, дослідженнях чи обмінах); взаємодія з бізнесом (досвід партнерств з підприємствами); мотивація та вплив; ідея розвитку співпраці з бізнесом (інноваційність та практичний потенціал проєкту).
Програма UK–UA STEM PRO спрямована на посилення співпраці між академічними спільнотами України та Великої Британії. Ініціатива покликана надати учасникам сучасні знання, практичні інструменти та міжнародні контакти для розвитку наукових досліджень, їх комерціалізації та створення партнерств з бізнесом. Участь у програмі сприяє розбудові сталих зв’язків між університетами та підприємницьким сектором, формуванню спільних проєктів і розвитку інноваційної економіки України.
Програму започатковано за ініціативи Фонду Президента України у партнерстві з University of Warwick та за підтримки UK–Ukraine Academic Diaspora Network та Міністерства закордонних справ Великої Британії.

The President of Ukraine’s Foundation for the Support of Education, Science, and Sports has successfully completed the international UK–UA STEM PRO program, which combined 10 weeks of training with British professors and practitioners and culminated in a study visit to the United Kingdom. The program began following an open competitive selection process: the Foundation received 73 applications from 18 cities across Ukraine. Based on the results, 43 teachers and young researchers from various STEM fields were recommended for the program. One of them was Vitalii OMELIANENKO, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor, Head of the Research Sector, and Professor in the Department of Business Economics and Administration.
The program consisted of three stages: an educational component comprising 10 online sessions led by British scholars, business representatives, and members of the Ukrainian academic diaspora; a study visit to the United Kingdom; and the development of projects in collaboration with businesses, followed by a presentation of the results. The program was open to faculty members and young researchers (aged 40 or younger) from higher education institutions and research organizations with an English language proficiency level of at least B2. Key selection criteria: experience in international cooperation (participation in twinning programs, research, or exchanges); engagement with the business sector (experience in partnerships with companies); motivation and impact; a vision for developing cooperation with the business sector (innovation and practical potential of the project).
The UK–UA STEM PRO program aims to strengthen cooperation between the academic communities of Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The initiative is designed to provide participants with up-to-date knowledge, practical tools, and international contacts to advance scientific research, facilitate its commercialization, and foster partnerships with the business sector. Participation in the program helps build sustainable ties between universities and the business sector, foster joint projects, and develop Ukraine’s innovative economy.
The program was launched by the President of Ukraine Foundation in partnership with the University of Warwick and with support from the UK–Ukraine Academic Diaspora Network and the UK Foreign Office.
